Preparing latte is really simple and below we will go step by step on how to make a perfect cup:

  1. Brew a shot of espresso directly in the glass if you have an automatic coffee maker. Or just pour 50 ml of coffee made in any way convenient for you.
  2. Heat milk to 50-60 ° C, but do not boil.
  3. Whisk 180 ml. milk until frothy.

Other Ways & Recipes For Making Latte at Home

Of course, there is not only one method of preparing a latte. Like other products, people come up with various recipes to create a completely different drink. Below we are going to discuss some very interesting recipes that you might find useful.

Caramel Latte

One of my favorite coffees that I love to consume on a daily basis is Caramel Latte. The main reason behind this is the fact that it produces a very flavorful, tasty cup of coffee. In order to prepare it, you just need to follow these simple instructions:

  1. Heat the milk to 60-70 ° C. Now beat it with caramel syrup until thick foam.
  2. Pour the resulting mixture into a glass, leaving some foam in the whipping bowl.
  3. Prepare an espresso.
  4. Then add the coffee to the latte glass in a thin trickle.
  5. Pour some caramel topping over the top and add the remaining foam. You can also use chopped chocolate for decoration, so your drink does not only taste but looks good as well!

The recipe for cooking in a coffee machine is also simple. You just have to insert the capsule, select the latte and then add the caramel syrup to the coffee.

Turmeric Latte

Another popular type of this drink is Turmeric Latte. In order to prepare it:

  1. You will have to pour milk into a saucepan.
  2. Add spices and cinnamon to it, and don’t forget about honey/sugar.
  3. Heat the spice mixture to 60-70 ° C.
  4. Whisk until frothy and pour into a latte glass.
  5. Now all that remains is to prepare the espresso and add it to the milk mixture. After that, the drink is ready!

Pour Over – Good For a Large Latte

Pour Over coffee makers are good for a large latte. Drip or filter coffee makers prepare coffee by extracting flavors and aromas from ground coffee beans using the free hot water method: ground coffee is placed on a filter and heated water, flowing through a layer of coffee, brews coffee into a container placed under the filter (jug or coffee pot).

This method of brewing coffee allows you to sufficiently reveal the taste qualities of your chosen type or blend of coffee, it is quite simple and does not require serious equipment.

What Beans are Recommended for Making Latte?

For making a latte, only 100% Arabica beans are recommended. Additionally, as we will be adding lots and lots of milk to the drink, it is best if we use beans that are higher in acidity and have bold flavors. Robusta can sometimes be used for preparing latte but if we make a comparison between them, Arabica beans are used more frequently.
